Our honest review of the Pinteresting Strategies Pinterest Course
Do you want in on the Pinterest traffic stream to help boost your blog traffic to new heights? Read our honest review of the Pinteresting Strategies Pinterest Course!
We have to get real here. When we started our first blog, we were always reading about other bloggers having major success with Pinterest. But we just couldn’t understand why we weren’t cracking the Pinterest code ourselves.
We were spending hours on end pinning and re-pinning, doing share threads and more. The result, crickets…we were just not gaining any traction.
That’s when we decided to buckle up, research and try and absorb everything Pinterest related. And so, we stumbled upon a course by Carly Campbell called Pinteresting Strategies.
For starters, it didn’t break the bank and everyone who’s taken the course seemed to rave about it.
We decided to take the plunge and invest and boy are we glad we did. Within the first month, we saw our Pinterest traffic nearly double, that’s insane!
So, today we decided to write an honest review of this particular Pinterest course for bloggers, so you can make an informed decision as to whether to invest in it or not.
Introduction to Pinteresting Strategies
Let’s start with the basics. Carly Campbell from the blog ‘Mommy on a Purpose’ is a regular blogger just like you and me. Carly started her blog and struggled to get traffic and page views. Just like us, Carly wanted to understand how so many bloggers were getting thousands of views per month through Pinterest.
Frustrated that every blog post on Pinterest traffic was a sales pitch to some tool or expensive course, Carly started developing her own strategies by trying to understand how to make Pinterest work for her.
The result, Carly managed to drive over 200,000 views to her blog. Insane!!
Not only that, but since launching her very own course to teach her tips and tricks to other fellow bloggers, many, including us, have been able to replicate success by implementing Carly’s strategies and tips.
Now, we’ll be upfront about something…yes, we do earn affiliate commissions by recommending this course. BUT….and this is a big ‘but’, if we were only in it to make money, then we would have honestly chosen a much more expensive course to promote.
No, money is by no means the motivation for us saying that this is our favourite and probably one of the best Pinterest courses out there.
We are confidently recommending it because we’ve tried and tested it ourselves and seen the results. We want to share that with our followers and readers because it’s such great value for money.
If you want to master Pinterest and reap the benefits of free traffic to your blog, then you certainly don’t have to raid your piggy-bank and sign up for some super fancy course! You simply need a straight-forward and to the point program, like this.
Who is the course aimed at?
Having had some prior dabbling in Pinterest, we had an idea of what we were getting ourselves into. Not being complete beginners, we managed to breeze through the course quite quickly.
But even if you’re a newbie to Pinterest, the course is laid out in a methodical way, explaining what Pinterest is about and going into all the nitty-gritty. Meaning you can easily catch on and gain very useful insights from the get-go.
Although we can recommend this to Pinterest beginners, it is important that you have some blogging base already. In order to truly implement the strategies taught and see the results, it is recommended that you have an established content base in place. Around 20 to 30 published posts should do the trick.
You cannot start this course with only 5 posts and think you’re going to hit thousands of views. That simply isn’t realistic.
What does the course cover?
The course is structured over seven modules that include both written and video content.
- Module 1 – is an introduction to the course and Pinterest traffic.
- Module 2 – is about doing your homework and ensuring you have everything set up correctly.
- Module 3 – deals with getting started and optimizing your account and boards
- Module 4 – encompasses user intent, one of the key principles to understand when it comes to Pinterest
- Module 5 – delves into Pinterest SEO and keyword research
- Module 6 – covers Group Boards
- Module 7 – introduces you to Carly’s pinning strategies and routine
Lastly, there is an FAQ module as well as a Bonus Content module that deals with the latest 2020 Pinterest updates.

For the low price of only $47 you too can join the Pinteresting Strategies course today.
It’s honestly great value for money and at this price, it’s a steal. No wonder so many bloggers are giving it rave reviews, including us.
Course pros and cons
Because we like to be honest and transparent, we’ll let you in on the pros and cons of this course, so you are able to decide for yourself whether this is really a good fit for you.
For us the real pro of this course is on how real and honest Carly talks about her findings and strategies. Her methods may vary from what other top Pinterest experts are advocating, but that’s what makes her take on Pinterest so refreshing. And the results speak for themselves! The course is thorough enough without being too boring or theory-intensive. In our view it’s very practical and well laid out which we really appreciated.
As far as cons go, well, is this the shiniest prettiest course out there, no! There are no fancy colourful workbooks or charts. The video quality at times could be improved. But you know, that’s also partly why we appreciated this course. Carly is there to simply share what’s she’s come to discover using Pinterest and we feel the course speaks for itself without having to be wrapped up in a pretty pink bow. So, we really didn’t mind this at all!
